In being a nurse for over 30 years, Dr. Donna Prosser quickly began to understand the issues that we have in quality and safety in this country and healthcare. She got into healthcare administration in 2002 in an effort to try to improve quality and safety. She’s been responsible for nursing practice and clinical practice improvement across two different hospital systems. And She’s now the Chief Clinical Officer of the Patient Safety Movement Foundation, an organization that is passionate about improving care. In this interactive interview, she walks through the PSMF initiative and the relationship between patient safety and patient experience.

This crosswalk was approved by ANCC in November 2017.
